This is lesson 6 in a series on God's Plan of Redemption. Many aspects of God’s dealings with physical Israel foreshadowed the coming of the Messiah. One of the most significant of these was the sacrificing of animals to atone for sin. John the Baptist said of Jesus, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29).
