Plan of Salvation
The New Testament provides us with a clear path to salvation. It is because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that we have access to this gift. Those who became Christians in the 1st Century followed the same plan we do today.
HEAR
Choose to read your Bible and listen to the Word being taught
Reference: Romans 10:17; John 8:32
BELIEVE
Believe the Gospel, knowing that Jesus Christ died for your sins
Reference: Hebrews 11:6; Acts 8:37
REPENT
To repent is to change one's mind. When you repent of your sins, you are effectively changing your mind, turning your back on sin and turning to Christ
Reference: Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38; 2 Peter 3:9
CONFESS
Confess your faith to others that Jesus is the Son of God

BE BAPTIZED
Be united to Christ through baptism for the forgiveness of your sins, being fully submerged into the water and rising out of the water as a new creature in Christ
Reference: Galatians 3:26-27; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-5
REMAIN FAITHFUL
As Christians, God expects us to continue to obey Him and be faithful to His love and commands. If we are able to do this, God promises us a crown of life when this life is over
Reference: Romans 6.4; Revelation 2.10
